About Washington County Court Docket

Washington County court dockets are divided among Utah's District and Justice Courts, each with its own clerk and venue. This private reference resource organizes the official search systems, calendar routes, office contacts, and request options that lead to those records. It is meant to reduce wrong-office searches, especially where a city court, the county Justice Court, and the state District Court can all seem plausible.

Why We Built This Site

Utah provides several ways to reach public court information, but the correct custodian depends on where the case was filed. The Fifth District Clerk of Court maintains the St. George District Court docket, while each local Justice Court keeps its own judicial files. Utah Courts Xchange offers a statewide case-information layer, and the public court calendar provides setting data. Washington County's Clerk/Auditor handles county government records instead and expressly is not a clerk of courts. This resource places those boundaries, official links, contact details, and record-request routes in one county-focused reference.

What You Will Find Here

  • Court dates: how to read Washington County court dates and confirm a setting
  • Docket types: how criminal and civil case histories differ in Utah courts
  • Case lookup: how to search by name, number, court, and date in Xchange
  • Official records: how copies, certification, historical files, and audio route through the proper clerk

What We Cannot Do

This is a privately run reference site. We have no connection to any Utah court, clerk of court, or state agency. There are real limits to what we can help with:

  • We cannot pull an official docket sheet or case file for anyone
  • We cannot change, reschedule, or reset a court date or hearing setting
  • We cannot remove, seal, or amend a case on any docket
  • We cannot issue certified copies of any docket, order, or court document
  • We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
  • We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or setting listed on this site is current right now

Only the clerk of court or the trial court that heard the case can issue an official or certified copy of a docket sheet or court record. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.

Search Partners

Some pages on this site include search boxes powered by third-party providers. Those companies set their own pricing and run their own services. When you use one of those tools and it leads to a paid signup, we may earn a referral fee. That revenue helps keep this site free for visitors. We do not control what those tools charge or what shows up in their results.
